Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Cyber Safety Operations Analyst to join the maritime cybersecurity team at Carnival Corporation. This hybrid role is based in Miami, FL, and plays a key part in securing Operational Technology (OT) systems across Carnival s global fleet. The ideal candidate brings a principal-level understanding of cyber operations, with hands-on experience in OT environments such as utilities or manufacturing, and leadership in cybersecurity operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the operationalization of cybersecurity tools protecting shipboard OT systems.
- Provide strategic direction and leadership across OT cybersecurity initiatives globally.
- Collaborate across departments and regions to implement cybersecurity measures that ensure compliance with IMO and Class Society regulations.
- Analyze large datasets and incident reports to detect threats, trends, and vulnerabilities.
- Develop and implement OT cybersecurity metrics (KRIs, KPIs) and improve operational processes.
- Set cybersecurity standards to ensure the resilience and reliability of maritime systems.
- Mentor and lead a global team of OT security analysts, cultivating a culture of excellence.
- Align with guidelines set by the Global Threat Intelligence & Security Operations team.
- Partner with MSSPs to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), advising senior leadership and driving cross-functional cybersecurity strategies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Informatics, or related field.
- Minimum 3+ years leading IT or Cybersecurity Operations environments.
- Strong background in OT Cyber Operations, OT network design, and system architecture.
- Prior exposure to maritime systems such as bridge, propulsion, machinery, and power control systems is a plus.
- Experience managing teams in high-pressure, operational environments.
- Knowledge of SOC/NOC operations is preferred.
- Principal-level cybersecurity mindset with strategic and hands-on experience.
Certifications (Preferred):
- CISSP, GSLC, GSOC, GCTI, CISM or other relevant cybersecurity credentials.
