Job Description:
- Billing and Collection System
In-house developed web application for Billing and Collection with functionalities to process cash, refund, journal entries, non-payment cancellations and reinstatements. Tasks include production fixes and enhancements including those from PayGo (Pay-as-You-Go) and IVANS Exchange Projects
- iNB (Integrated New Business) System
In-house developed web application for the processing of WC quote. It consists of the following modules QuoteSys, iNB Search and iNB Main programs. Tasks include production fixes and enhancements of Autoquote processing, Straight-Through Processing and Section 93 Search.
- iPAM (Integrated Policy Administration and Maintenance) System In-house developed web application for the administration and
maintenance of a WC policy record during its life cycle. It consists of the following main modules Declaration, Entity, Location, Endorsement, Broker, Change of Interest, Contacts, Cancellation and Reinstatement, and Report. Tasks include production fixes and enhancements including those from PayGo and IVANS Exchange projects.
- Defines the architecture of a computerized system (i.e., a system composed of software and hardware) in order to fulfill certain requirement, including a breakdown of the system into components, the component interactions and interfaces (including with the environment, especially the user), and the technologies and resources to be used in the design.
Roles and Responsibilities:
The duties of the consulting resources would be to plan, create, modify, test and implement code in support of any of the following:
- Develop Oracle stored procedure, packages, and triggers
- Develop batch application using .net, oracle
- Plan and design the structure of a technology solution
- Communicate software requirements to app dev team members
- Develop software with modern web development frameworks
The consultant will adhere to NYSIF s application development standards, including, but not limited to, project management methodology, SDLC (software development life cycle), Enterprise Architecture standards and the IT governance process.
Qualifications:
- 84 months experience in development, support and implementation of software related to policy administration and maintenance for Workers Compensation Insurance
- 84 months experience in development, support and implementation of software related to policy billing and collection for Workers' Compensation and Disability Insurance
- 84 months experience in development, support and implementation of software related to quote processing following the guidelines for Workers Compensation Insurance
- 84 months experience with Oracle PL/SQL utilizing Packages, Types, Objects, Triggers and Advanced Queuing
- 84 months experience as a .Net application developer - TFS/Azure DevOps, visual studio with visual studio 2019 or newer
- 84 months experience with web browser application development using Javascript, CSS, XML, Xslt, Json, html and AJAX.
- 36 months experience with Planview PPM Pro (formerly Innotas)
