About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Origami P&C Architect to lead the solution design and implementation of the Origami platform for Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance carriers. This role will focus on building scalable, future-ready solutions across Policy Administration, Claims, and Billing, while ensuring seamless integration with enterprise and third-party systems.

The architect will collaborate with business leaders, product owners, and delivery teams to define architectures, guide implementations, and drive digital transformation within the P&C domain.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Architecture & Design

  • Define target-state Origami architecture for P&C transformation programs.

  • Design data models, workflows, rating engines, and product configurations tailored to P&C lines.

  • Establish integration patterns with distribution platforms, financial systems, data warehouses, ISO feeds, bureau reporting, and payment gateways.

Implementation Leadership

  • Provide hands-on guidance on Origami Policy, Claims, and Billing configuration.

  • Define migration strategies from legacy PAS/Claims/Billing systems.

  • Establish standards, reusable assets, and best practices for implementation teams.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Partner with underwriting, claims, finance, and operations teams to validate solution designs.

  • Conduct architecture/design reviews with both business and IT stakeholders.

  • Act as a trusted advisor for P&C capabilities within Origami.

Governance & Quality

  • Define roadmaps and guardrails for large-scale Origami implementations.

  • Perform design assurance to ensure scalability, maintainability, and compliance.

  • Mentor Origami configuration specialists and developers.

Requirements (Must-Have)

12+ years in Insurance Technology (P&C focus) with at least 5+ years on Origami platform.
Proven expertise in Policy, Claims, and Billing implementations on Origami.
Deep understanding of P&C products, coverages, underwriting rules, rating, and claims processes.
Strong knowledge of APIs, Origami Connect, middleware, and external data integrations.
Hands-on experience with data migration from legacy platforms.
Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and leadership skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience in Commercial, Specialty, and Personal Lines implementations.
Familiarity with reinsurance, bureau/statistical reporting, and financial integrations.
Exposure to other PAS solutions (Guidewire, Duck Creek).
Cloud deployment/architecture experience (Azure, AWS).
