Process Architect / Business Analyst (Runbook Development Consultant)
Position Type: Contract/Consultant

Location: Remote

The client is seeking a Process Architect / Business Analyst (Runbook Development Consultant) to support the documentation and knowledge transfer of critical PeopleSoft operations. This consultant will collaborate with client's PeopleSoft development team to capture, define, and document key technical and business processes. The primary focus is to develop comprehensive runbooks covering process steps, troubleshooting, system dependencies, contact points, and all supporting information required for backfill PeopleSoft developers to maintain the system during the Workday implementation.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
Minimum 8 years experience as a process architect, business analyst, or technical writer in ERP/enterprise systems environments.
Demonstrated experience documenting complex technical processes and developing runbooks or support guides.
Ability to conduct effective interviews and facilitate discussions with technical subject matter experts.
Excellent written communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
Familiarity with PeopleSoft environments, system administration, and technical support processes.
Strong attention to detail and ability to synthesize technical information for diverse audiences.
Ability to work independently and remotely with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience in higher education is highly desired.
Experience supporting or documenting ERP systems such as PeopleSoft, Workday, Oracle, or SAP.
Previous work with IT service management or operations teams.
Experience with knowledge management, technical documentation tools, or wiki platforms.
