Solutions Architect

Solutions Architect - Support sales team activities to build integrated IT systems and solutions for large Enterprise customers, as well as plan and administer major portions of the implementation and engineering effort, using tools and technologies including SUSE, RHEL, VMware and VMwareHCl, EMC, Cisco, Nutanix, Oracle, Unix Shell, and SAP HANA. Duties include designing and architecting major systems components, managing project tasks, identifying project personnel, and communicating with clients and management; performing Professional Services customer activities and engagements; supporting sales team activities to architect, size, and scope hardware and software solutions; delivering on consulting tasks such as installation and configuration of IT solutions; contributing to the improvement and enhancement of EVT consulting best practices; developing, installing, and integrating IT systems including server configuration management and fibre-channel and IP network design and administration; acting as liaison between client and project team; performing storage, server, network, and other systems installation, administration, and engineering functions; and providing training and certifications to clients as needed.

Position requires (1) Bachelor s degree in computer science, computer engineering, electronics engineering, or related field. Employer will accept foreign equivalent degrees. (2) 2 years of experience in a solutions architect position supporting large Enterprise customers, including server configuration management, fibre-channel and IP network design and administration, and using tools and technologies including SUSE, RHEL, VMware and VMwareHCl, EMC, Cisco, Nutanix, Oracle, and Unix Shell. (3) This is a hybrid position requiring remote work Monday/Wednesday/Friday and in-person work in the office in Rogers, Arkansas on Tuesday/Thursday. (4) Must submit to background check within one month of commencing employment.
