Job Title: Web/UX Designer

Job Duration: 6 Months

Job Location: Alpharetta, GA or Chicago, IL (First go with GA location then IL)

Hybrid Role

Need banking or financial industry background

5-10 years of experience

Need portfolio link with including Figma and Adobe CC work

Must have:
bachelor's degree in design or related field preferably, master's degree a plus.
Atleast 5-7 years of experience building digital experiences from ground up, that have helped decision making in the past. They must be able to explain the product vision, design and ecosystem and results.
Someone who is hands-on, this resource will be working closely with the UX lead
Portfolio is mandatory.
Excellent skills in Figma and Adobe CC. Make sure the portfolio demonstrates the Figma and Adobe CC work.
Work experience in Banking or Lending products

Required:

  • 2+ years as a UX designer a key contributor to the success of products that have launched
  • An outstanding portfolio that demonstrates how have created experiences that solved business and user needs
  • Bachelor's degree in design or related field preferably, master's degree a plus
  • Excellent skills in Figma and Adobe CC
  • Thrive in a collaborative, explorative environment and value being on a diverse team that you can bounce ideas off of, get critical feedback from, and unite with to mature design thinking within a large organization
  • Practice active listening and contribute in group situations (i.e. brainstorms, audits, critiques, whiteboard sessions, etc.)
  • Excited by complex projects with high levels of ambiguity and are resilient in the face of obstacles
  • Relentless desire to validate assumptions and uncover a problem's root cause by testing, learning, and iterating
  • Have a knack for balancing user goals, technology needs and business objectives and can clearly explain the rationale for your designs and how they achieve both
  • Constantly seek opportunities to evangelize and promote design thinking in a large organization
  • Work experience in Banking or Lending products
  • Fluency in Figma
  • Previous work experience in finance


Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with the UX lead, help execute the product vision by being involved in every step of the end-to-end product design process
  • Understand the underlying needs and motivation of our clients to ensure we achieve business goals and provide value to our clients
  • Craft intuitive and elegant experiences that empower our clients to make confident financial decisions
  • Work closely with our research team to synthesize qualitative and quantitative data and make value-driven design decisions that translate into clear, simple UIs
  • Create and present a variety of design deliverables (sketches, wireframes, user flows and prototypes) in a way that engenders confidence in you and your solutions with the team and the greater organization
  • Form holistic solutions that integrate seamlessly into our wealth management product ecosystem
  • Design and deliver responsive/adaptive solutions that are optimized for web and mobile interfaces and partner with engineers to translate designs into successful products
  • Work closely with the larger Wealth Management UX team to share design best practices, align on patterns, and promote a design-centric culture at the firm
  • Advocate for all user abilities by thoroughly testing design deliverables to meet WCAG ADA compliance
