Description
The IT DevOps Engineer role focuses on supporting client, server, and system operations. Responsibilities include resolving incidents and requests, conducting system analysis, managing hardware/software upgrades, and executing technology projects. The position involves extensive work with Azure DevOps and Azure cloud environments, as well as Linux administration and container orchestration.
-Work with Azure DevOps for CI/CD
-Manage Azure cloud environments (monitoring, scaling, troubleshooting)
-Administer Linux servers and containers (security, reverse proxy, firewall, SSL, web server configuration, backups)
-Implement and manage container orchestration (Kubernetes, Podman/Docker)
-Deploy and maintain Linux-based services (VMs and containers)
-Implement Infrastructure as Code using Git and DevOps practices
-Assist developers in creating stable delivery environments
-Automate common tasks and develop tools
-Troubleshoot service issues (disaster recovery, login problems)
-Install/rebuild servers and configure hardware/software
-Maintain installation and configuration documentation
-Develop monitoring and performance procedures
-Research industry trends and propose improvements
-Provide advice and training to associates
-Act as liaison to other teams and participate in projects
-On-call support for critical incidents

Additional Skills & Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years IT Systems Administration experience (Middleware/OS)
- 3+ years Linux & Windows OS experience (physical & virtual environments)
- 3+ years scripting experience (Linux/Unix shells, Ansible)
- Automation scripting (Bash, Hashi, Python)
- Familiarity with virtualization
- Knowledge of SDLC
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments
- Advanced knowledge of deployment and incident resolution
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Working knowledge of server technologies (networking, services, best practices)
- Flexible schedule (overtime, weekends, holidays)
Nice to Have:
-Experience with multiple Linux distributions (CentOS, RHEL, Oracle Linux)
-Familiarity with AWS services (Lambda, SNS, SQS, MySQL, Dynamo, RDS)
-Experience with Rubrik
-Certifications: VMWare, Linux+, RHCSA, DevOps
-Strong knowledge of Azure cloud architecture

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $52.00 - $57.00/hr.
