THE WORK:
    • You'll manage all phases of project planning and development, including engineering, construction, budgeting, and grants.
    • You'll review and interpret complex budgets, schedules, and costs to ensure alignment with project scope and funding.
    • You'll supervise project planners to ensure project scope, budget, and timelines align with stakeholder goals.
    • You'll develop and implement funding strategies, including leveraging grants and partnering with non-profits.
    • You'll perform value engineering to resolve or mitigate cost overruns.
    • You'll prepare executive-level project reports and propose new initiatives as needed.
    • You'll oversee financial closeout of programs and ensure compliance with funding source requirements.
    • You'll act as liaison for closed-out projects in litigation and supports legal processes.
    • You'll assess program effectiveness and recommends improvements in reporting and processes.
    • You'll resolve complex technical issues for project teams, including architects and engineers.
    • You'll coordinate the creation and revision of policies related to construction and funding.
    • You'll recommend updates to construction specification guidelines.
    • You'll engage with stakeholders and communities, attend site meetings, and ensure documentation meets program standards.
    • Onsite at client site: The work location for this role is onsite with our clients and partners to enable delivery and cultivate our client relationships.

HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
    • Ten (10) years full time paid professional experience in the management and administration of various programs and projects under programs to include, scope development, planning and design, budget and funding allocation and close-out.
    • Minimum four (4) years' experience in managing programs in a public or educational agency, with full responsibility for coordinating complex activities.
    • Experience in managing multiple education or public agency programs concurrently is preferred
    • Graduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelor's degree, preferably in Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management. Candidates who do not meet the education requirements may substitute experience on a year for year basis.

BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:
    • A valid Certificate of Registration as an Architect by the California State Architectural Board OR
    • Professional Engineer by the State Board for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors
    • A valid Construction Manager (CCM) credential by the Construction Manager Certification Institute (CMCI)
    • LEED Professional Accreditation
    • Experience in managing multiple education or public agency programs concurrently is preferred

$153,163 - $168,480 a year

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Illinois, Minnesota, Maryland, New Jersey, New York or Washington as set forth below.
