Food Safety Quality Assurance Associate Manager

Factor_ a brand of HelloFresh is seeking a Food Safety Quality Assurance Associate Manager. The FSQA Associate Manager for Manufacturing is responsible for all supporting food safety and quality assurance related internal audits in adherence with regulatory standards. The position supervises and supports the salaried FSQA Supervisors and hourly FSQA Associates. Additionally, the position supports developing, implementing, and managing food safety and quality control systems designed to ensure compliance with internal and regulatory requirements.

You Will

    \n
  • Ensure a high level of internal and external customer service. Supports investigating (and correct) internal issues and complaints relating to food safety and quality.
  • \n
  • Develop, motivate, engage, coach, and inspire a team of salaried FSQA supervisors and technicians, creating a positive team dynamic that encourages all employees to provide feedback and drive change from within. Provide all employees with the necessary tools, proper training, and corrective direction.
  • \n
  • Maintain accurate documentation regarding GMPs, HACCP, Holds, Calibration, standard operating procedures (SOP s) and any other FSQA requirements.
  • \n
  • Coach and train FSQA employees, including Supervisors, to follow company procedures and processes, evaluate team productivity and accomplishments.
  • \n
  • Initiates RCA investigations, executes pending preventive and corrective action requests (CAPA), including nonconformities from holds, internal and external audits.
  • \n
  • Drive KPI improvements through a structured approach for continuous improvement.

  • Leadership: Train and develop a large group of salaried and hourly employees

  • Technical Capacity: Computer literacy to input information into the computer. Microsoft Office, Google sheets, Slack, and Warehouse management system (WMS) software.

You Have

  • Associate degree or related leadership work experience
  • \n
  • At least 3 years of work experience in quality assurance should be combined with a demonstrated track-record of accomplishments as an FSQA leader, and with satisfying customers in technology-driven, developing companies.
