Job Details

Position: Senior Salesforce Administrator

location: Austin, Texas (Hybrid)

Duration: 7 months with High possibility of extension

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Position will be 3 days remote with 2 days (Thurs & Fri) required to be onsite at the location listed above.
  • Project will only allow candidates who are LOCAL TO THE AUSTIN AREA ONLY (Within 50-mile radius).

DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES

Texas Health and Human Services Commission requires the services of 1 Systems Analyst 2, hereafter referred to as Candidate(s), who meets the general qualifications of Systems Analyst 2, Applications/Software Development and the specifications outlined in this document for the Texas Health and Human Services Commission.
This position serves as a hands-on System Administrator for HHSC Salesforce Orgs. This position requires a wide range of skills from setting up new Orgs from scratch, integration with 3rd party tools, migration of data, use of CI/CD frameworks, troubleshooting systems including production and other administrative tasks as required.

This position will require hands-on experience as an Administrator and prior Salesforce custom development experience is a plus. Familiarity with DocuSign and Azure Data Factory is also a plus. The HHSC Salesforce team follows Agile (Scrum), and this role should have experience with Agile methodologies.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience as a Salesforce Administrator, managing, maintaining, and overseeing the support of Salesforce Orgs and its environments. Implement and improve security policies and practices.
  • Experience in Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) process, coding standards, change control, and version management including CI/CD toolsets such as Flosum.
  • Experience in data migrations, data quality, systems integrations, 3rd party applications, and AppExchange products.
  • Experience is overseeing and providing guidance in troubleshooting and solving complex problems related to system software and hardware incident and problem calls and recommending technology solutions.
  • Experience in implementing various authentication protocols (o-Auth) to integrate 3rd party applications. Experience in core web technologies including HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, and web services (REST & SOAP, JSON & XML, etc.).
  • Experience in Salesforce implementation and development and in writing Apex programming, Visual force pages, Apex triggers, Aura Components, and lightning web components.
  • Experience in Salesforce implementation and development and in writing Apex programming, Visual force pages, Apex triggers, Aura Components, and lightning web components.
  • Experience with Salesforce integration tools like MuleSoft, Azure Data Factory and Jitterbit.
  • Agile Software Development Methodologies Experience.
  • Knowledge in implementing solutions using configurations (no-code) such as Flows, process builders, and workflow Rules, etc.
