Job Summary

The Staffing Sales Executive is responsible for driving revenue growth by acquiring new clients and expanding relationships with existing accounts, primarily by selling our contract, temporary, temporary-to-hire, and direct-hire staffing solutions. This role requires a hunter's mentality, exceptional relationship-building skills, and a deep understanding of clients' talent needs and business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Business Development & Prospecting (New Client Acquisition)
  • Generate new business through proactive cold calling, email campaigns, networking, and attending industry events to identify qualified prospects.
  • Conduct market research to identify companies with high hiring needs and target key decision-makers (e.g., HR Directors, Hiring Managers, C-level Executives).
  • Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals that clearly articulate the value of our staffing services and tailored solutions.
  • Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and service agreements to successfully close new accounts.
  1. Client Relationship Management (Account Growth)
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for an assigned portfolio of clients, ensuring their ongoing satisfaction and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
  • Conduct frequent in-person or virtual meetings with clients to deeply understand their company culture, hiring challenges, and future talent needs.
  • Proactively check in with clients and placed contractors to perform quality control and ensure successful placements.
  1. Internal Collaboration & Operations
  • Act as a liaison between the client and the internal Recruiting/Talent Acquisition team.
  • Clearly articulate client job requirements, urgency, and cultural fit to the recruiting team to ensure efficient and accurate candidate sourcing.
  • Coordinate candidate interviews, offers, and all onboarding/off-boarding processes.
  • Utilize the company's CRM system (e.g., Salesforce) to meticulously track all sales activities, manage the sales pipeline, and provide accurate revenue forecasts.
  1. Industry Expertise & Market Analysis
  • Stay current on industry trends, labor laws, competitive activities, and market conditions within the specified territory or industry vertical.
  • Leverage market data to advise clients on best practices for hiring, compensation, and talent retention.
  • Meet and exceed weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales and revenue targets.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven Experience: Minimum of 5 years of successful B2B sales experience, with a strong preference for experience in the staffing, recruiting, or human resources industries.
  • Communication & Negotiation: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a polished, professional demeanor for presentations and contract negotiation.
  • Goal-Oriented: Highly motivated, self-driven, and possess a competitive spirit with a proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent time management, prioritization, and organizational skills, with a disciplined approach to managing a high volume of sales activity.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience using a CRM system (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Travel: Ability to travel locally [and regionally] to conduct client meetings as required.
