Job Description
The Microsoft 365 Solutions & Governance Consultant will support the development and governance of Microsoft 365 solutions, including SharePoint Online, Microsoft Power Platform, Copilot, Fabric, Adaptive Cards, and related Microsoft technologies. The consultant will analyze business needs, develop requirements, oversee solution design and implementation, and ensure appropriate use of Microsoft 365 tools across the organization.

Job Description
The Microsoft 365 Solutions & Governance Consultant will support the development and governance of Microsoft 365 solutions, including SharePoint Online, Microsoft Power Platform, Copilot, Fabric, Adaptive Cards, and related Microsoft technologies. The consultant will analyze business needs, develop requirements, oversee solution design and implementation, and ensure appropriate use of Microsoft 365 tools across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Log and manage support tickets, assign requests to appropriate resources, and ensure timely resolution.
- Partner with the Microsoft 365 Governance Team, product owners, support teams, and content managers to develop and maintain solutions.
- Gather and document business requirements, facilitate discussions, and create use cases.
- Assess development effort, set expectations, and communicate timelines to stakeholders.
- Build and customize solutions using SharePoint Online, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, MS Teams, and Copilot.
- Train business users on new tools and solutions to support adoption and effective use.
- Provide governance oversight to ensure proper use of Microsoft 365 tools.
- Support ad hoc requests and deliver solutions to address immediate business challenges.
- Document and communicate solutions, provide walkthroughs, and close tickets upon resolution.
- Contribute to the development of Microsoft 365 skills across the Strategic Solutions and Governance (SSG) team.
- 4-6 years of experience with SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft 365, and Power Platform.
- 1+ years of experience managing applications in technology environments.
- 1-3 years of experience with Copilot.
- Ability to support Power BI integration with SharePoint Online data.
- Experience creating Power Automate workflows and Power Apps forms.
- Strong skills in writing business requirements, change control, and use cases.
- Experience with Jira for documenting stories and facilitating requirement walkthroughs.
- Knowledge of SharePoint migration and upgrade processes.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with local and remote teams.
- Customer- and product-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills.
- Understanding of Classic and Modern Dynamic Forms for SharePoint (DFFS).
- UI/UX experience.
- Functional user testing experience.
- Hands-on application and web design experience.
- Knowledge of business processes and workflows.
- Experience with JavaScript or other scripting languages.
