Job Description
.NET Application App Dev Developer
Core Responsibilities:
- Implement .NET based Organizational migration patterns for .NET-based applications
- Upgrade/migrate .NET applications to latest supported versions
- Implement configuration changes for AWS environment compatibility
- Perform code modifications for compatibility without changing business logic
- Support migration acceptance testing and cutover activities
- Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines for .NET applications
Technical Requirements:
- .NET Framework 4.x and .NET Core/.NET 5+ expertise
- Experience with: - C#, MVC/Web API - IIS, Windows Server - MSBuild, Azure DevOps, TeamCity - PowerShell, Python, Windows batch scripting - Git, GitHub/GitLab, Bitbucket - Docker, Kubernetes, AWS ECS/EKS - SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL/PostgreSQL
- Knowledge of Application Insights, Splunk, New Relic
- Proficiency in JSON, YAML configuration
Migration-Specific Skills:
- Experience with .NET application modernization
- Expertise in IIS and Windows Server configuration
- Knowledge of AWS cloud services and SDK
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) implementation
- Container orchestration and microservices
- Application performance testing and optimization
- Security controls implementation
- CI/CD pipeline development and maintenance
- Migration acceptance testing support
- Documentation and knowledge transfer
Common Cloud Requirements for Both Roles:
AWS Technology Stack: (Preferred)
- AWS EC2, CloudWatch, IAM, Secrets Manager, ECS/EKS, RDS
Security & Compliance: (Nice to Have)
- SSL/TLS configuration, IAM & Security controls, Security best practices
