Job Title:Principal Cloud Architect (Google Cloud Platform/OCI)
Location: Albany, NY
Duration: 6-12+ Months


Technical Architect Cloud (Google Cloud Platform)
Security architect is a good to have skill along with the Google Cloud Platform architect which is the key role here.
7-8 Years
At least 3-4 year experience in architecting solution leveraging Google Cloud Platform IaaS services & Google Cloud Platform products & Services with an overall 12+ years of experience of hard-core infrastructure consulting.
Google Cloud Platform Certification - Associate Cloud Engineer/Professional Cloud Architect/ Professional Cloud Developer. In depth knowledge of key Google Cloud Platform services GCE, GKE, GAE, GCS, Cloud SQL, VPC, Resource Manager, StackDriver, Cloud CDN, Cloud IAM, GSuite(good to have) Infrastructure as Code etc. Good exposure to Google BigData & ML platform like BigTable, BigQuer, Dataproc/Dataflow/ML API's etc. (good to have)
In-depth knowledge of design, implementation, engineering, automation and devops implementation, service operation and service improvement initiatives On premise/other cloud providers to Google Cloud Platform cloud migration using cloud migration tools like Velostrata/Sureline/Cloud Endure etc.
In depth knowledge of Google Cloud Platform SKD/API tools like gcloud, gutils, kubeclt etc.
Your primary role would be to provide best fit architectural solutions for one or more projects.
You would also provide technology consultation and assist in defining scope and sizing of work
You would implement solutions, create technology differentiation, and leverage partner technologies.
Additionally, you would participate in competency development with the objective of ensuring the best-fit and high-quality technical solutions.
You would be a key contributor in creating thought leadership within the area of technology specialization and in compliance with guidelines, policies and norms of TCS.
Knowledge of architectural design patterns, performance tuning, database and functional designs Hands-on experience in Service Oriented Architecture
Ability to lead solution development and delivery for the design solutions
Experience in designing high level and low level documents is a plus
Good understanding of SDLC is a pre-requisite Awareness of latest technologies and trends
Logical thinking and problem solving skills along with an ability to collaborate
