Position Summary

\tManage overall user trial testing for Samsung's unreleased products, handling multiple projects simultaneously.
\tEnsure smooth operation of User Trials and troubleshoot issues
\tEvaluate user-reported issues from a user perspective to decide whether to register them internally.
\tDesign, implement, coordinate, and oversee the user trial process, identifying potential risks and maintaining a risk management program.
\tMaintain accurate records and documentation throughout the process
\tSupport the development and improvement of User Trial processes
\tStay updated on industry trends and competitor activities

Role and Responsibilities

  • Identify potential problems/risks and maintain a risk management program before conducting user trials.
  • Recruit and manage a user pool for ongoing and upcoming projects, providing on-site training as needed.
  • Ensure proper device setup for user trials and monitor issues registered during the trial period, ensuring fixes are provided before market launch.
  • Analyze user data to identify issue trends and user patterns in pre-launch devices.
  • Create periodic project status reports and final reports upon project completion.
  • Monitor and control projects based on business objectives and key performance indicators.
  • Conduct pre/post surveys for user trials and in-depth analyses on user behaviors related to specific product features.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align carrier and manufacturing schedules with user trial schedules.
  • Determine courses of action for task completion with minimal guidance.
  • Gather and analyze data, prepare presentations, and plan/prioritize multiple work assignments.
  • Communicate professionally with internal/external users to maintain positive relationships and strengthen the user pool.
  • Solve complex problems creatively, drawing from learned concepts.
  • Contribute to the development of concepts and techniques, completing complex tasks efficiently and effectively.
  • Work on complex assignments requiring judgment and initiative, determining methods and procedures for new assignments.

Mentor or coach team members as needed.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information systems, Industrial Engineering, Consumer Behavior, Business Administration or related field.
  • 0-2 years' experience in the telecommunications industry.
  • Strong communication skills for demonstrations and end-user training.
  • Proficient in Korean and English (both verbal and written); additional language skills are a plus.
  • Ability to perform root cause analysis, decision analysis, and process mapping.
  • Demonstrated English language competence in written and oral communication for internal and external audiences.
  • Working knowledge of Android, iOS, and Windows platforms.
  • Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with colleagues at all levels within the organization.
  • Possess a high degree of technical aptitude in software testing principles.
  • Understand relevant technologies in the current and evolving marketplace.
  • Passionate about learning and staying informed about emerging technologies.
  • Have an in-depth understanding of how technology impacts cultural and societal development.
