Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a contract with a client in Columbus, OH. This role involves supporting 24/7 middleware operations and automating deployments using Ansible/AWX in cloud or hybrid environments.
Rate Range: $44/hour to 45/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Pay Details: $44.00 to $45.00 per hour

Developer job responsibilities include:
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot middleware technologies such as IBM MQ, IBM App Connect, and ActiveMQ in both on-prem and cloud environments.
- Provide 24/7 support and request management for middleware services, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Develop automation scripts using Ansible/AWX to streamline deployment and configuration processes.
- Monitor and maintain infrastructure components on Linux and Windows servers, ensuring system stability and security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support application hosting and integration in AWS or Azure environments.
- Apply Agile methodologies to manage tasks, track progress, and deliver timely solutions.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 8-10 years of experience in middleware support, infrastructure, and application hosting.
- Strong hands-on experience with IBM MQ, IBM App Connect, and ActiveMQ, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in automation using Ansible/AWX and experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
