Overview

LMI is seeking a Strategic Technical Solutions SME to support a client located at Fort Belvoir, VA. The primary focus of the role is to provide strategic support to PEO leadership priorities; evaluating, aligning, and developing portfolio policies; providing high-level strategic planning support and facilitating the development and execution of technology initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and refine policies that govern the use of enterprise-selected tools, ensuring standardized methods across a PEO.
  • Offer PM-level strategic guidance to senior leaders, understanding and responding to leadership taskers, and performing impact analysis.
  • Document the various PEO program technology stacks, identify overlapping requirements, and assist in shaping the strategic direction.
  • Support organizational restructure and realignment of roles and responsibilities.
  • Act as a bridge, taking on tasks from PEO leaders, supporting direct execution of high priority efforts; collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders to understand business processes, requirements, etc.
  • Advise on digital transformation efforts to enable capabilities at the Enterprise scale.
  • Develop briefing packages to communicate complex ideas to non-technical customers.

Travel: Minimal, less than 10%

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • DoD Secret clearance required. Must have at a minimum an active Interim Secret Clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, public policy, or related field.
  • 7+ years of related work experience.
  • Experience with Agile project management.
  • Superior communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to influence and align others and move toward a common vision or goal.
  • Proficiency in developing polished presentations and documents.
  • Skilled at facilitating meetings with keen attention to detail.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Current or previous certifications and experience in auditing information system processes.
  • Deep SAP knowledge.
  • Experience with PEO Enterprise programs and organizations.
  • Knowledge or experience supporting IT Governance structures with the Army or DoD.
  • Experience supporting transformation efforts.
  • Has an awareness of a wide range of Army technology strategies, policies, and programs.
  • Experience operating in various roles and responsibilities in support of IT Systems.
  • Graduate degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.

The target salary range is - up to $200,000.
