Project Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Saint Louis, MO that is seeking a Senior Project Manager. This is a hybrid working schedule 4 days in office 1 remote day per week.

Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and organized Project Manager to oversee multiple backend data-related projects. This role focuses on internal project execution without direct customer interaction or technical development responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and coordinate multiple concurrent backend data projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organizational goals
* Utilize Jira for project planning, tracking progress, and maintaining documentation
* Conduct regular follow-ups with team members to ensure tasks are completed and obstacles are addressed promptly
* Apply Scrum principles to facilitate project workflows, adapting practices to fit the team's needs
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements, clarify objectives, and ensure project alignment
* Maintain organized records of project activities, decisions, and changes for transparency and accountability

REQUIREMENTS:
* Proven experience in project management, particularly in managing multiple projects simultaneously
* Familiarity with Scrum practices and the ability to adapt them to non-technical environments
* Exceptional organizational skills with a strong emphasis on follow-through and attention to detail
* Demonstrated initiative in identifying issues, asking pertinent questions, and driving projects forward without repeated prompts
* Experience with Jira or similar project management tools
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a dynamic environment

Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with backend data projects or familiarity with data workflows
* Understanding of project management methodologies beyond Scrum, such as Kanban or Waterfall
* Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with internal teams

Additional Information:
* This role does not require a technical background or direct customer engagement
* Budgeting responsibilities are not included; Financial aspects are managed by another team member
* The ideal candidate will be someone who can bring structure and clarity to complex projects, ensuring consistent progress and accountability

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
