As a Systems Engineer Sr, you will:
Perform system analysis and electronic hardware testing, including troubleshooting and debugging.
Develop, maintain, and modify test plans and procedures to support electronic hardware testing.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide regular system-level testing and troubleshooting.
Troubleshoot and resolve electronic hardware-related issues, including analyzing error messages and setting up test environments with necessary input files.
Maintain and update existing test equipment and scripts to ensure compliance with security requirements and to enable automated data product generation.
You should have an exceptional work ethic and knowledge across a broad range of topics. Possess good process focus with the ability to intelligently apply standard processes to real-world applications. Thorough, with good attention to detail and a proven understanding of documentation methods and requirements.

This position requires the ability to obtain a DOD security clearance. ship required.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor of Science or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related discipline
Experience in troubleshooting and repairing electronic hardware, including circuit analysis and debugging.
Knowledge and application of electronic hardware testing principles, including test planning and execution.
Working knowledge or experience with electronic hardware design and test, including experience with one or more subsystems (e.g., Electrical, RF, Software, etc.).
Working knowledge or experience understanding hardware test scripts within a lab environment.

Knowledge of Systems Engineering processes and Systems Integration functions which may include:
1) System trade studies and/or System modeling
2) Requirements and Interface Control Document (ICD) development
3) System Integration, Test and/or Verification
4) Test planning and execution with an understanding of all the interdependencies
5) Design reviews
Active Secret Security Clearance; which requires ship.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance

Desired skills

Experience with electronic hardware design, development, integration, test, with knowledge of space, missile and launch systems at the component through system level.
Ability to absorb extensive technical detail and logically formulate solutions for execution on an inflexible schedule, often requiring integration of conflicting and, at times, incomplete data.
Ability to operate in a dynamic environment and tackle numerous roles as part of the daily program operations.
Demonstrated behaviors of a systems thinker; selects and applies appropriate systems thinking skills to solve very complex problems and implement constructive change.

Ability to work remotely

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $89,300 - $157,550. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.

Premium Pay Statement
