A client of Sharp Decisions Inc. is looking for an Wellness Manager/ Corporate Benefits Manager (Wellness Programs) to be based in Lithia, FL. The Position is hybrid and contract duration is 12 months with possible extension. *W2 and local candidates only.
Title: Wellness Manager/ Corporate Benefits Manager (Wellness Programs)
Description of Assignment:
We are seeking a passionate and proactive Wellness Manager to join our Global Benefits Team. The Wellness Manager will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing global wellness programs that enhance employee health, engagement, and overall well-being. This role will play a pivotal part in fostering a culture of wellness within the organization, aligning initiatives with the company's benefits strategy and goals, and educating employees on wellness resources in a manner that enhances the employee experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement wellness programs that support physical, psychological, and financial health.
Collaborate with the Benefits Director to integrate wellness initiatives into the overall benefits strategy.
Partner closely with Human Resources, Public Affairs and Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) to collaborate on key wellness activities and implementation of strategic projects.
Conduct regular assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of wellness programs and identify areas for improvement.
Organize wellness events, workshops, and training sessions to educate employees on health-related topics.
Partner with external vendors to provide services such as health screenings, coaching, and wellbeing programs.
Promote wellness resources and initiatives through internal communication channels.
Track and report on key metrics related to program participation and impact on employee health outcomes.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously enhance wellness offerings.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and with Federal, State and local laws, including, but not limited to ERISA, HIPAA, ACA, etc.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Health Promotion, Public Health, Human Resources, or a related field and 7+ years of progressive responsibility in corporate benefits/wellness program administration.
For those candidates without a bachelors degree, 10+ years of progressive responsibility in corporate benefits/wellness administration experience is required.
Proven experience in effective employee experience and change management strategies.
In-depth and working knowledge of benefits and wellness-related programs, including health and welfare and/or retirement programs.
Strong understanding of wellness trends and best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights.
Skills:
Strategic thinking, analytical and problem-solving.
Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
Excellent interpersonal, listening and relationship-building.
Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication.
Ability to handle multiple competing priorities and manage workload independently.
Excellent organizational skills, project management, and a strong attention to detail.
Experience working with Cigna, Personify Health (Virgin Pulse), Fidelity, Livongo (Teladoc), Hinge Health, Lyra Health, and other wellness partners is a plus.
