Description
We are looking for an experienced Microsoft SharePoint Online and Power Platform Engineer to join our team in West Des Moines, Iowa. In this role, you will design, implement, and maintain SharePoint Online and Power Platform solutions that align with business needs and organizational governance standards. This is a long-term contract position offering the opportunity to collaborate with stakeholders and address complex technical challenges in a regulated environment.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement SharePoint Online and Power Platform solutions tailored to meet business requirements while adhering to governance policies.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document technical requirements for platform customization and workflows.
Configure and customize SharePoint components, including sites, libraries, lists, and metadata structures.
Diagnose and resolve advanced issues related to permissions, inheritance, workflow failures, and connector errors.
Troubleshoot and optimize Power Automate flows and Power Apps to ensure seamless functionality.
Manage updates and deployments across Power Platform environments to maintain system reliability.
Apply governance controls and security roles within SharePoint Online and Power Platform environments.
Investigate and resolve complex technical issues independently, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
Monitor system performance, usage metrics, and health, providing regular reports to stakeholders.
Create documentation and deliver training to business users on best practices and platform capabilities.
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of experience working with SharePoint Online and Microsoft Power Platform.
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 enterprise services, including SharePoint Online and Power Platform.
Strong troubleshooting skills for permissions, workflows, and system errors.
Hands-on experience in configuring and deploying updates within Power Platform environments.
Familiarity with governance frameworks and security controls within regulated industries.
Ability to document technical processes and provide user training.
Experience in financial or regulated service environments is highly desirable.
Proactive approach to learning and staying updated on platform advancements.
