Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineering Project Manager to join our client's dynamic Land Development Team. This servant leader will play a pivotal role in overseeing design, planning, and project delivery services while driving business development initiatives and maintaining crucial client and municipal relationships. Duties and Responsibilities
• Provide strong leadership, guidance, and technical expertise to the existing Land Development Team
• Develop and mentor team members to enhance their professional growth and capabilities
• Oversee project performance including production, staffing, profitability, and quality control
• Maintain and strengthen existing client relationships while developing new business opportunities
• Identify and lead successful pursuit of Land Development design projects
• Directly manage complex projects while overseeing other project managers on various assignments
• Collaborate with company leaders to manage resources and coordinate worksharing across multiple projects
• Ensure all projects meet quality standards, budget requirements, and delivery timelines
• Represent the company in client meetings, municipal interactions, and industry events
Required Experience/Skills
• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field of study
• Minimum 8 years of experience with commercial, industrial, and residential development projects
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) License
• Proven ability to lead projects and supervise technical staff
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in client interaction and business development
• Positive attitude with self-direction and strong teamwork capabilities
• Focus on quality, integrity, and success in all professional endeavors
• Knowledge of land development processes, regulations, and municipal requirements
Nice-to-Haves
• Recognized leadership experience with existing relationships among local developers
• Strong connections with local municipal clients and government agencies
• Experience in the Dallas Fort Worth market and familiarity with local regulations
• Advanced project management certifications or training
• Experience working in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary engineering environment
Education
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field required
