Role: Web Developer
Location: Remote

Key Responsibilities Front-End Development:
Design and implement user-friendly, responsive, and visually appealing web interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
Work with front-end frameworks such as React.js, Vue.js, or Angular to build dynamic, single-page applications (SPAs).
Ensure a seamless, cross-browser experience and optimize web pages for maximum speed and scalability.
Integrate with RESTful APIs to retrieve and display data dynamically on the web interface.
Back-End Development:
Develop and maintain server-side logic using back-end technologies like Node.js, PHP, Ruby on Rails, or Python.
Work with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) to create data models, optimize queries, and manage data storage.
Implement user authentication and authorization processes to ensure secure access control for applications.
Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for integration with front-end applications and third-party services.
Collaboration & Code Management:
Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement design elements and improve the user experience (UX).
Participate in code reviews to ensure quality, maintainability, and scalability of code.
Use version control systems (e.g., Git) for collaborative development and source code management.
Engage in Agile/Scrum development processes, contributing to sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Website Optimization & Performance:
Optimize web applications for performance, ensuring fast load times and an exceptional user experience.
Utilize tools like Google Lighthouse to perform website audits and implement performance improvements.
Implement responsive design principles to ensure a consistent experience across all devices (desktop, tablet, mobile).
Continuous Improvement:
Stay up to date with emerging web development trends, tools, and best practices.
Suggest and implement improvements to existing web applications, enhancing functionality and user experience.
Troubleshoot and debug issues in both front-end and back-end environments.
Qualifications
Required Skills & Experience:
Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Web Development, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience: 2-3 years of professional experience as a Web Developer, with hands-on experience in both front-end and back-end development.
Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (React.js, Angular, Vue.js).
Familiarity with server-side technologies such as Node.js, PHP, Ruby on Rails, or Python.
Experience with version control systems (Git, GitHub, GitLab).
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and API integration.
Solid understanding of database management (SQL and NoSQL).
Soft Skills:
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively and logically.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
A collaborative mindset and the ability to receive and provide constructive feedback.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality, maintainable code.
Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with CSS frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS).
Experience with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Drupal, or Joomla.
Familiarity with DevOps tools (e.g., Docker, Jenkins, AWS).
Knowledge of Agile methodologies and familiarity with Jira or similar tools.
Experience with mobile-first development and creating responsive, adaptive layouts.
Familiarity with Web Accessibility (WCAG) best practices.
