Lead Access Control Technician - Join TEKsystems's Client on High-Impact Security Projects!
TEKsystems's client, a leading provider of integrated security solutions across Middle Tennessee, is expanding its team to support a major wave of projects launching June 2nd. With a strong reputation in access control, surveillance, and commercial security systems, they're looking for a Lead Access Control Technician who's ready to step into a high-responsibility role and make an immediate impact.
This is a great opportunity to join a team of 42+ Lead Technicians-and growing. You'll be expected to work independently, think critically, and bring a proactive mindset to every job site. A company vehicle will be provided after the initial few months on contract.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.

? What You'll Do
- Lead the installation, configuration, and maintenance of access control, security, and camera systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware/software issues with minimal supervision.
- Perform system upgrades and modifications on existing infrastructure.
- Interpret technical drawings and specs to ensure accurate installations.
- Collaborate with clients to assess needs and deliver tailored solutions.
- Provide on-site training and support when needed.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed and materials used.
? What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as an Access Control Technician or in a related field.
- Strong knowledge of access control hardware/software (readers, controllers, door strikes).
- Experience with Lenel systems (certification preferred but not required).
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and think critically-no hand-holding here.
- Professional communication and client-facing skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
