Sr/Lead. SAP FI CO COPA/COPC Consultant

Experience: 12+ Years

Location: Newark, CA [Local or Willing to relocate candidate preferred]

Skills and Responsibilities

• Applicant will have strong FI/CO functional consultancy experience around GL, AP, AR, AA.
• Solid experience working with SAP Controlling modules especially Product Costing (COPC) and Profitability Analysis (COPA).
• Expert knowledge of Inter-Company Accounting.

• Candidates must have S4 HANA experience.

• Deep understanding of core SAP FICO applications, as well as an understanding of the business requirements of the financial organization.
• Attend meetings with internal customers and lead discussions about requirements and improvements.
• SAP experience implementing SAP FICO and SAP Product Costing with experience in intercompany trading scenarios, Material ledger and Actual costing, COPA (Account Based/ Cost Based/Combined Profitability Analysis) and Profit Center/ Cost Center Accounting and reporting requirements.
• Understanding of FICO integration points to other modules such as PS, SD, MM
• Gather Information on their current business processes and prepare documentation.
• Gather information on their business requirements and prepare documentation.
• Gap Analysis-finding the gap between As-Is and To-Be processes.
• Functional testing and Integration Testing.
• Configure Global settings and Enterprise structure settings.
• Meet with decision makers, systems owners, and end users to define business and operations requirements and systems goals and Identify and resolve systems issues around SAP Project System.
• Work with technical development teams to ensure the deliverables are met.
• Experience with Planning and Budgeting tools and processes is a plus.
• Experience with implementing an S4/HANA multi-tiered SAP environment
