Job Details

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and stakeholder interviews to gather insights and requirements.
  • Design wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
  • Translate UX designs into functional UI components using modern front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, or Angular).
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure design feasibility and consistency.
  • Design for accessibility (WCAG) and adhere to healthcare-specific standards and regulations.
  • Advocate for user-centered design across the product lifecycle.
  • Continuously iterate on designs based on user feedback, data analytics, and stakeholder input.
  • Maintain and evolve design systems and UI libraries tailored to healthcare applications.

Requirements:

  • 3–6 years of professional experience in UX/UI design.
  • Strong UI development skills with hands-on coding experience (React, Angular, or similar preferred).
  • Experience in healthcare product design or clinical software (EHRs, patient portals, telehealth, etc.).
  • Familiarity with HIPAAHL7, and healthcare compliance and privacy standards.
  • Portfolio showcasing UX process, interaction design, and responsive UI development.
  • Strong understanding of usability heuristics and accessibility (WCAG 2.1+).
  • Experience with user research methods, journey mapping, and persona development.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience working in Agile or SAFe environments.
  • Familiarity with FHIR or healthcare APIs.
  • Knowledge of data visualization for healthcare data (e.g., lab results, vitals).
  • Motion design or micro-interactions experience.
  • Experience working with international healthcare systems (e.g., NHS, EMR vendors outside the US).
