Luna Data is seeking a Technical Project Manager for a hybrid contract opportunity in Austin.
Technical Project Manager/M365 Migration

  • Primarily remote but must be based in Austin area, there is not set days for in-office, but occasionally they will need to come into the office for work sessions, and stakeholder meetings.

The Technical Project Manager M365 Tenant Migration will serve as a technical project management lead for the Microsoft 365 cross-tenant migration, with a primary focus on leading the project team through successful delivery of technical deliverables as we work to improve the existing M365 environment. While a selected vendor will handle most of the hands-on migration work, this role will support the effort by ensuring tenant is secure, optimized, well-documented, and aligned with Microsoft best practices and federal compliance requirements.
Required Experience

  • Strong vendor management experience, Microsoft 365 suite expertise, expertise in delivering highly technical projects
  • 8 years of Agile/Hybrid project delivery
  • 5 years of cross-functional team coordination
  • 5 years of technical risk and dependency management
  • 4 years of enterprise cloud migration experience (e.g., Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, or similar)
  • 3 years of identity and access management (IAM) in cloud environments
  • 1 year+ of experience with Microsoft 365 tenant migrations
  • 1 year+ of Azure Active Directory and Entra ID
