Job Details

Description

Analyze and gather the automotive infotainment diagnostics requirements from Open Diagnostic Data Exchange format (ODX) documents. Develop, design, implement, integrate and test embedded diagnostics component software in passenger vehicle infotainment Electronic Control Unit (ECU) - Virtual Cockpit Unit (VCU), in Android, C++, and QNX programming languages, in Linux operating system, using Git, Gerrit, Jenkins, Artifactory, IBM Rational Team Center (RTC) tools, and Vector CANoe tools, following Motor Industry Software Reliability Association (MISRA) C standards and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), for future model year vehicle programs and global markets (North America, China and Rest of World), to meet vehicle specific architecture, system, security, safety and encoding requirements. Design and develop Unified Diagnostics Services (UDS) protocol features including Routine Identifiers (RIDs), Data Identifiers (DIDs), Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs), secure unlock, access level control to diagnostics, and UDS Services in diagnostics component.

Additional Description

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, or related field, and two (2) years of experience as an Engineer, or related role. Must also have experience with: designing or integrating passenger Electronic Control Unit (ECU) or ECU features, in C or C++ and Python programming languages, in Linux operating system
