Systems Engineer - Entry or Associate

The Boeing Space and Launch Division is seeking a highly motivated Entry or Associate Level Systems Engineers to join the Double Eagle Program in Chantilly, VA. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to the development and operation of next-generation satellite technologies within a fast-paced mission operations environment. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will play a key role in both spacecraft operations and big data-driven mission analysis.
Scope of Work:
In this position, you will support the full lifecycle of spacecraft and ground system operations. Your responsibilities will include mission planning, real-time telemetry monitoring, anomaly detection and resolution, and ground system maintenance. You will collaborate with internal teams and external partners during integration and testing activities, launch, and transfer and initialization (LT&I) phases. Additionally, you will leverage analytical tools and techniques to interpret structured big data from multiple sources. By identifying expected, desired, and anomalous system behaviors, you will help ensure operational continuity and system performance. This includes the development of data visualizations, automation tools, and process improvements to enhance mission efficiency and situational awareness.

- Collaborate with engineers and developers to identify system discrepancies and support enhancements
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams during testing, integration, and mission readiness activities
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Passion for space systems, mission operations, and data analytics
- Strong collaboration and communication skills in multi-disciplinary environments
- Familiarity with telemetry systems, anomaly resolution, or big data analytics is a plus
- Ability to thrive in high-intensity, real-time operational settings
