Job Details
Activities to perform:
1. Project Planning & Execution
Develop a comprehensive project management plan in alignment with PMP methodology.
Define scope, schedule, cost, quality, and resource plans for the Windows 11 upgrade.
Manage project baselines and ensure adherence to approved timelines and budgets.
2. Stakeholder Coordination
Identify and engage stakeholders across IT, security, compliance, and business units.
Facilitate stakeholder communication and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
Ensure alignment of upgrade activities with business continuity and operational needs.
3. Risk & Issue Management
Proactively identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues using PMI risk management processes.
Develop and implement mitigation and contingency plans.
Maintain a risk register and issue log with regular updates.
4. Communication & Reporting
Provide structured and timely project updates to executive leadership and stakeholders.
Prepare and present dashboards, status reports, and post-implementation reviews.
Ensure transparency and traceability of project decisions and changes.
5. Testing & Validation
Oversee end-to-end testing strategy including hardware, application, and driver compatibility.
Coordinate pilot testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and validation processes.
Ensure all systems meet performance, security, and compliance standards post-upgrade.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
PMP Certification (Project Management Professional) Required.
At least 6 years of experience with Windows Servers, Azure AD, and Group Policy.
Familiarity with ITIL practices and change management processes.
Minimum 5 years of experience managing large-scale IT infrastructure or OS deployment projects.
Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, enterprise IT environments, and deployment tools (e.g., SCCM, Intune, Autopilot).
Demonstrated experience applying PMI methodologies and tools.
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
With at least 6 years of experience. The Technical Solutions Leader will be responsible for leading the strategic planning and execution of the enterprise-wide Windows 11 upgrade initiative.
