Salesforce Developer

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Salesforce Developer . This role requires a deep understanding of Salesforce technologies and a strong background in the healthcare domain. You will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining Salesforce solutions that enhance patient and provider engagement, streamline internal operations, and support regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and other Salesforce technologies.
• Integrate Salesforce with healthcare systems such as EHR/EMR, ERP, marketing automation, and patient service platforms using APIs, middleware, and integration tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Dell Boomi).
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and cross-functional teams to understand healthcare-specific requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Salesforce configuration, integration, and data integrity.
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews.
• Partner with the QA team to ensure thorough testing of applications and timely resolution of defects.
• Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to improve development efficiency and deployment pipelines.
• Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation related to architecture, development standards, and technical processes.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 12+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
• Proven experience working in or with healthcare organizations or healthcare clients.
• Salesforce Platform Developer certification required; additional certifications like Application Architect or System Architect are highly preferred.
• Expertise in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components (LWC), and custom Salesforce development.
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce integration patterns, REST/SOAP APIs, and data migration techniques.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (e.g., Git), and DevOps tools for Salesforce.
• In-depth understanding of HIPAA compliance, data security, and regulatory requirements in healthcare.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate technical details to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with Salesforce Health Cloud or other healthcare-specific Salesforce solutions.
• Familiarity with FHIR standards, HL7 integration, or other healthcare data exchange protocols.
• Knowledge of patient engagement tools, care management workflows, and clinical operations in Salesforce.
