What will you do?

In this role, you will use process sheets, blueprints, and measuring tools to inspect completed parts for acceptable tolerances.

Key Responsibilities:

Mechanical Inspection:

    \n
  • Perform detailed inspections of precision-manufactured components: (1-3 years of experience required).
  • \n
  • Read and interpret blueprints: (1-3 years of experience required).
  • \n
  • Utilize a variety of manual hand tools including but not limited to: (1-3 years of experience required).
  • \n
      \n
    • Calipers
    • \n
    • ID/OD Micrometers
    • \n
    • Depth Micrometers
    • \n
    • Gage Blocks
    • \n
    • Pin/Plug Gages
    • \n
    • Taper Gages
    • \n
    • Tri-Micrometers
    • \n
    • Material Hardness Tester
    • \n
    \n
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of inspections using the AX Shop Floor system.
  • \n

Calibration Duties:

    \n
  • Knowledge of a CMM with PC Demis software.
  • \n
  • Perform calibration of in-house tools such as:
  • \n
      \n
    • Calipers
    • \n
    • Pin/Plug Gages
    • \n
    • ID/OD Micrometers
    • \n
    • Depth Micrometers
    • \n
    • Various shop tools
    • \n
    \n
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and calibration protocols.
  • \n
  • Accurate documentation of all calibration activities
  • \n

  • Schedule: 1st Shift, Monday - Friday, {7:00 AM - 03:00 PM}.

Key Competencies:

    \n
  • 1-3 years of experience in mechanical inspection and blueprint reading/interpretation.
  • \n
  • Strong proficiency with manual hand tools used for precision measurement.
  • \n
  • Experience with AX Shop Floor system is a plus.
  • \n
  • 1-3 years of experience in a calibration lab/CMM operator would be a plus.
  • \n
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
  • \n
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
  • \n
  • High School Diploma (Required)
  • \n
  • Bilingual would be a plus.
  • \n
  • Ability to work in non-climate-controlled environment.
  • \n
