RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Tallahassee, FL that is seeking a Business Analyst.
Summary:
The advanced Business Analyst is a member of a full lifecycle agile development team. They will be expected to work across multiple business units to perform business and systems analysis activities and tasks. They Business Analyst will provide analysis and guidance for development team activities. They will work directly with subject matter experts (SME) and other stakeholders to ensure requirements are thoroughly documented, work flowed, tested, and achieved. The Business Analyst will be involved, and work in concert with other team members, to analyze, design, implement, and test solutions.
Duties:
* Research and understand business processes and their inter-relationships
* Document and diagram business and system processes and dependencies between them
* Research and document impacts on agency business systems
* Facilitate joint analysis workshops with the business units
* Gather and document business and technical requirements as user stories in Azure DevOps and other tools
* Manage backlog and work items using Azure DevOps
* Coordinate with data migration and development teams
* Develop Test Plans and Test Cases
* Coordinate testing and quality assurance efforts
* Perform oversight reviews of deliverables for compliance with department standards
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Business Administration, Communication, Information Systems, or other related field is required; Equivalent work experience may substitute for the educational requirement
* Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) is highly desired
* 5+ years of Business Process Analysts and systems analysis
* Proficiency in process mapping/modeling with tools such as Visio
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint
* Proficiency in writing SQL Queries and performing Data Analysis
* Experience working with Microsoft DevOps is highly desired
* Knowledge of Rules 60GG-1 - 60GG-5, Florida Administrative Code, is desired
* Knowledge of data migration
* Knowledge of change and release management is desired
* Knowledge of testing and quality assurance tools and techniques is desired
* Agile project experience and use of Azure DevOps to manage user requirements and backlogs preferred
* Ability to perform detailed research, business analysis, as-is and to-be analysis, process modeling. Use of software tools is required and include, but are not limited to, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, and Visio
* Ability to perform System Analysis & Design using a variety of modeling methodologies and techniques
* Ability to expertly facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders
* Excellent technical knowledge and understanding of IT infrastructure and software development practices and techniques
* Knowledge of State of Florida Project Management Rule 60GG-1; Ability to apply principles and techniques in the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK)
* Advanced skills with Microsoft products: SharePoint, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, DevOPS, and Project
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
