Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our staffing and recruitment division. This role will focus on acquiring new client logos within Canada, expanding our market presence in the region. This is a fully remote opportunity offering flexibility to work from anywhere in Canada. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in business development within the staffing and recruitment industry, with a proven track record of successfully driving new client acquisition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, target, and secure new client relationships across diverse industries within the Canadian market.
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans tailored to the staffing and recruitment industry.
- Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with key decision-makers, including Talent Acquisition and Procurement contacts.
- Conduct thorough market research to stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activity.
- Collaborate closely with internal recruitment and delivery teams to ensure alignment with client needs and expectations.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and contract negotiations to prospective clients.
- Manage the sales pipeline effectively, tracking progress and reporting on business development metrics.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of staffing solutions and industry regulations to provide expert guidance.
- Represent Mindteck at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to bolster brand visibility.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 8 years of business development experience in the staffing and recruitment sector.
- Proven track record in acquiring new clients and growing business revenue.
- Strong understanding of the Canadian staffing industry landscape and client acquisition strategies.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a remote working environment.
- Proficient with CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bachelor s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
