We are hiring entry-level Behavioral Therapy Specialists to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a 24-hour residential care setting. This position involves providing hands-on support, therapy, and training to help residents build daily living and behavioral skills in a safe and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver personalized care and behavioral support based on individual treatment plans
Assist with daily living skills including hygiene, mobility, and social development
Record behavioral data and report changes in client needs or progress
Support behavior stabilization and habilitation goals
Collaborate with internal staff, families, and support teams
Promote safety, dignity, and respect in all interactions
Assist in training new staff on treatment protocols
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
1+ year of experience in caregiving, education, customer service, or working with special populations
College coursework in psychology, social work, or healthcare is a plus
Valid driver s license required
Must pass background and drug screening
All necessary training is provided on-site
