Job Details

We are hiring entry-level Behavioral Therapy Specialists to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a 24-hour residential care setting. This position involves providing hands-on support, therapy, and training to help residents build daily living and behavioral skills in a safe and supportive environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalized care and behavioral support based on individual treatment plans

  • Assist with daily living skills including hygiene, mobility, and social development

  • Record behavioral data and report changes in client needs or progress

  • Support behavior stabilization and habilitation goals

  • Collaborate with internal staff, families, and support teams

  • Promote safety, dignity, and respect in all interactions

  • Assist in training new staff on treatment protocols


Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • 1+ year of experience in caregiving, education, customer service, or working with special populations

  • College coursework in psychology, social work, or healthcare is a plus

  • Valid driver s license required

  • Must pass background and drug screening

  • All necessary training is provided on-site
