RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in need of a Quality Assurance Analyst in Boston, MA.
Responsibilities:
* Follow established testing standards and protocols to ensure quality deliverables
* Review notice specifications and requirements to confirm testability
* Define test scenarios to validate alignment with requirements
* Create reusable test scripts based on functional, technical requirements, and user stories
* Set up data, execute test cases, and report results
* Participate in defect triage, testing meetings, and stand-ups; Provide defect and root cause insights
* Perform API/service testing and automation using tools like SOAP UI and Postman
* Collaborate with QA lead and teams to meet testing deadlines
* Conduct system integration, functional, regression, positive/negative, and accessibility testing
* Troubleshoot production issues and support retesting of fixes
* Analyze test results and provide recommendations to stakeholders
* Identify, communicate, and escalate risks and issues
* Actively support all phases of Agile SDLC
* Perform other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree
* 4+ years of hands-on experience with end-to-end testing of software/IT applications as a QA Analyst
* 2+ years of experience supporting a benefits management program's eligibility management processes
* Ability to understand and investigate the structure of various input and output data file formats such as JSON, XML, HTML, etc.
* Experience working with external applications - specifically in data integration testing
* Able to assist QA Lead in preparing and presenting daily and weekly testing status reports
* Ability to effectively communicate findings and discuss with both technical and non-technical sides of the business, articulating issues or needs in a clear and concise manner
* Ability to engage and discuss with architects/developers/SMEs, ask questions, and get the information required
* Hands-on experience with industry-standard testing supporting tools, including but not limited to, POSTMAN, SOAP UI, and JAWS
* Prior experience with any DB query tools such as pgAdmin4, SQL Developer, TOAD, or similar tools
* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and test management tools such as JIRA, ALM, or similar tools
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
