Job Title:

  • Tech Lead ERP Applications
  • Location: Hybrid Remote 2-days per week) located in Minneapolis, MN or Chicago, IL

Must have skills:

  • ( non-manager role hands-on lead or specialist ) 6+ years of experience in tech lead or similar roles leading ERP applications integration projects in manufacturing,IT service delivery, and solutions architecture experience
  • Experience in enterprise applications within ERP environments in manufacturing, supply chain, or procurement contexts (Epicor, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar).
  • Demonstrated success leading ERP transformations or consolidation initiatives.
  • Hands-on with end-to-end IT service delivery for ERP Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Procurement applications.
  • Manufacturing, ERP , CRM or similar industries Must have longevity at the companies no short term durations
  • Big 5 Consulting firms is a nice to have must have longevity at the companies, no short projects (Deloitte, KPMG, Accenture, PWC, Earnst & Young

Must have Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 6+ years of IT applications management experience with IT service delivery, ERP Enterprise Apps or Solutions Archtiecture roles
  • Proven track record leading in hands-on ERP environments in manufacturing, supply chain, or procurement contexts (Epicor, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar).
  • Demonstrated success leading ERP transformation or consolidation initiatives.
  • Strong vendor management and project leadership experience.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing execution systems (MES), supply chain planning, or procurement solutions
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and change management skills.
  • Hands-on tech lead with service operations across multiple ERP platforms, work with roadmaps for consolidation into a standardized end-state solution, and partner closely with Operations and Supply Chain leadership to enable scalable, efficient business processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Service Delivery & Operations
  • Hands-on with end-to-end IT service delivery for Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Procurement applications.
  • Hands-on day-to-day system operations, enhancements, and support across a diverse ERP environment.
  • Establish SLAs, KPIs, and service governance to ensure system availability, performance, and reliability.
  • Roadmap & Transformation Leadership
  • Define and govern the multi-year applications roadmap for Operations and Supply Chain systems.
  • Lead projects to streamline and standardize business processes across disparate ERP systems.
  • Drive the execution of ERP consolidation initiatives toward a unified, scalable platform.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and solutions to enable supply chain visibility, manufacturing efficiency, and procurement automation.
  • Team Leadership & Vendor Management
  • Build, mentor, and lead an IT applications support and delivery team aligned to Operations and Supply Chain.
  • Manage vendor and system integrator relationships to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery.
  • Oversee contracts, licensing, and vendor performance against agreed outcomes.
  • Stakeholder Engagement
  • Serve as the primary IT liaison to Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Procurement leadership.
  • Translate business requirements into IT solutions that deliver measurable value.
  • Provide transparent communication on roadmap progress, project status, and system performance to senior leadership.
