Job Description

We are seeking a talented and proactive Instructional Designer to join our client's Academy team, where you will play a crucial role in designing and developing engaging learning content for service partners. Working remotely, you'll leverage the Evolve authoring tool to create high-quality, self-paced courses that help partners master the platform's advanced features and capabilities. This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on partner success and product adoption through innovative educational experiences.

In this role, you'll collaborate closely with product managers, marketers, and subject matter experts to transform complex product knowledge into clear, accessible learning modules. You'll be responsible for the entire content development lifecycle, from initial design through quality assurance and ongoing maintenance. The ideal candidate is passionate about instructional design, thrives in a fast-paced technology environment, and has a proven ability to quickly master new software platforms.

Duties and Responsibilities

Design and develop engaging, interactive self-paced learning content using the Evolve authoring tool
Collaborate with product managers, marketers, and subject matter experts to gather information and requirements
Translate complex product knowledge into clear, concise, and effective learning modules
Apply adult learning principles to create educational experiences that are both effective and user-friendly
Conduct thorough reviews and testing of all developed content to ensure accuracy and functionality
Maintain and update existing course materials as product features evolve
Manage end-to-end development cycles for learning projects while meeting deadlines
Incorporate stakeholder feedback effectively throughout the development process
Ensure all content aligns with established learning objectives and instructional design best practices
Document development processes and maintain comprehensive project records

Required Experience/Skills

3+ years of experience in instructional design or related field, preferably in technology or e-learning environment
Solid understanding of instructional design methodologies, including ADDIE model or similar frameworks
Strong portfolio demonstrating application of instructional design principles
Proven ability to quickly learn and master new software platforms
Excellent communication skills with ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to quickly grasp new concepts and products in fast-paced technology environments
Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
Experience in course design and development
Project management skills with ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously

Nice-to-Haves

Prior experience with Evolve authoring tool or similar course authoring platforms
Experience working in financial technology or SaaS environments
Background in adult education or corporate training
Familiarity with marketing automation platforms or related technologies
Experience working with remote, distributed teams

Education

Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Communications, or related field preferred
