Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer with strong expertise in machine learning and algorithm design. In this role, you will be responsible for characterizing parameters and constraints that impact wireless network quality, designing and evaluating different home network configurations, and applying optimal topologies to ensure customers receive the best WiFi experience throughout the home.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Develop highly scalable tools, applications, services and ensuring their availability and performance.
• Integrate systems with other cloud applications using APIs and message bus
• Ensure that the applications conform to the security best practices and standards.
• Explore new tools and technologies to improve the scale and order of problem solving
• Continuously improve algorithms and tools based on field data, performance metrics, and product requirements.

Required Skills:

• Expertise in algorithms and solving Linear and integer programming problems
• Proficiency in Python programming including multiprocessing and concurrency
• Expertise in Python math and algorithm packages (numpy, pandas, scipy etc.)
• Expertise in large data-set analysis and visualization (matplotlib, seaborn, plotly/dash etc.)
• Hands-on experience in Machine Learning (ML) modeling, particularly with time series data

Desired Skills:

• Familiarity with optimization solvers such as Gurobi, CPLEX, SCIP, GLPK
• Familiarity with solver frameworks like Pyomo, OR-Tools, or equivalent.
• Knowledge of WiFi technologies and other home networking topologies
• Experience working with Linux/Unix-based environments

Qualifications:

• Master's degree (or higher) in Mathematics, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
• 5+ years of experience in algorithm development and problem-solving using Python and/or C++
