Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Engineering Lead to provide technical leadership and oversight within the Systems Integration & Engineering domain for the BNATCs program. This senior role is responsible for guiding multidisciplinary engineering teams, ensuring technical excellence, and driving system integration strategies that meet complex mission and operational requirements.

This position provides an opportunity to shape the engineering direction of a mission-critical program with national impact. The Engineering Lead will play a key role in ensuring the seamless integration of systems, technologies, and processes across the BNATCs enterprise.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead engineering planning, design, and integration activities across a large, distributed enterprise environment.

  • Oversee the development and implementation of system architectures, interfaces, and performance requirements.

  • Coordinate engineering efforts across multiple IPTs, programs, and functional domains to ensure alignment with mission objectives and standards.

  • Serve as a technical advisor to leadership, providing recommendations on system design trade-offs, risks, and optimization strategies.

  • Ensure compliance with program, corporate, and customer engineering processes and quality standards.

  • Mentor and guide engineering staff, fostering collaboration and technical growth across teams.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum: Master's degree in Engineering or related field and 10+ years of relevant experience, or Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of related engineering experience.

  • Proven experience engineering solutions for large, complex organizations across 20+ sites, ensuring system scalability, interoperability, and performance.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong background in systems integration, systems engineering processes, and lifecycle management.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) or similar large-scale federal engineering initiatives.

  • Familiarity with FAA systems engineering frameworks, processes, and compliance requirements.

  • Prior experience in engineering leadership for enterprise-level modernization or transformation programs.

Salary Range: $167,400.00 - $314,500.00

This position is eligible for incentive compensation.
