Job Title: Production Support Lead

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Production Support Lead to manage and lead the L1/L2 application support for mission-critical enterprise applications. The role requires strong technical troubleshooting skills, stakeholder communication, and coordination with development, infrastructure, and business teams.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage daily production support activities for business-critical systems.
Act as the first point of escalation for incident management, problem resolution, and service restoration.
Monitor systems using tools like Splunk, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, or similar.
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and drive permanent resolutions to recurring issues.
Coordinate with application development teams, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders.
Manage support SLAs, ensure high availability, and maintain application uptime.
Drive automation and process improvements to enhance production stability.
Prepare and present status reports, dashboards, and incident trends to senior leadership.
Required Skills:
7+ years of experience in IT application production support or operations.
Strong background in Java, SQL, and Unix/Linux environments.
Experience in incident management, change management, and ITIL processes.
Experience with cloud environments (preferably AWS).
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, release management, and DevOps practices.
Excellent communication, leadership, and coordination skills.
Preferred Skills:
Prior experience supporting applications in insurance or financial services domain.
Exposure to tools such as ServiceNow, JIRA, Control-M, Autosys, etc.
ITIL Certification or similar process framework knowledge is a plus.
