KORE1, a nationwide provider of staffing and recruiting solutions, has an immediate opening for a Sr. Salesforce Developer / Architect: APIs (REST / SOAP / middleware) required

Purpose of Position:

As a Senior Salesforce Developer/Architect specializing in third-party vendor API integration and data synchronization, you will play a critical role in driving the technical design, development, and implementation of Salesforce solutions that seamlessly connect with external systems and ensure smooth data synchronization processes. This role does not oversee the work of other people.

Essential Functions:

  • Design and architect Salesforce solutions with a focus on integrating with third-party vendor APIs and ensuring robust data synchronization processes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define technical specifications, and propose scalable solutions aligned with business objectives.
  • Develop custom integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST, SOAP, and other API technologies. Implement authentication mechanisms, error handling, and data transformation logic to facilitate seamless communication and data exchange between Salesforce and external platforms.
  • Design and implement data synchronization processes to ensure accurate and timely replication of data between Salesforce and external systems. Configure and optimize data synchronization tools and middleware platforms to maintain data consistency and integrity across different environments.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring successful integration implementations and adherence to best practices.
  • Implement middleware solutions to connect Salesforce with external applications, databases, and third-party services.
  • Customize Salesforce applications by configuring objects, fields, workflows, and process builder to meet specific business needs.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand CRM requirements and objectives.
  • Design, configure, and customize Salesforce to align with the organization's CRM strategy.
  • Configure and manage Salesforce automation features, including workflows, process builder, and approval processes.
  • Ensure data integrity and consistency within the Salesforce CRM system.
  • Develop and maintain custom Visualforce pages, Apex classes, triggers, and Lightning components as needed.
  • Actively participate in data migration efforts, ensuring accurate and secure transfer of data from legacy systems to Salesforce.
  • Develop and execute data cleansing and transformation processes to maintain data integrity within Salesforce

Required Technical Skills

  • Bachelor degree, especially one in Computer Science is a plus.
  • Relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Health insurance industry and/or regulation driven (HIPAA, PHI, PII, etc.) industry experience is a plus.
  • 5-8+ years of Salesforce development including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Salesforce APIs.
  • Experience with Salesforce configuration, customization, and administration.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, security model, and sharing rules.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce integration patterns and experience integrating Salesforce with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, Middleware, etc.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce development best practices, design patterns, and coding standards.
  • Expertise in declarative features such as Process Builder, Workflows, Flow, and Salesforce Automation.
  • Experience with Salesforce DX, version control systems (e.g., Git), and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce development tools like Developer Console, VS Code with Salesforce Extensions, and Salesforce CLI.
  • Understanding of Salesforce platform limits, governor limits, and performance tuning techniques.
  • Ability to design and implement complex Salesforce solutions to meet business requirements.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time and occasional standing and walking. Must have adequate hearing for phone work. Vision requirements include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to communicate effectively in English. Must be able to use a keyboard and other office equipment. Ability to lift up to 10 pounds occasionally. Must be able to work extended hours including evenings and weekends as required. On-call availability as needed.
Compensation depends on experience but is typically $60-81/hr W2
