JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a skilled Performance Engineer with hands-on experience in LoadRunner, Performance Center, Dynatrace, and AppDynamics to join our performance engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and executing performance tests, analyzing results, identifying bottlenecks, and collaborating with development and infrastructure teams to optimize system performance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design, script, and execute performance tests using LoadRunner and Performance Center for web, API, and enterprise applications.
• Utilize Dynatrace and AppDynamics for monitoring and deep-dive analysis of performance issues across application tiers.
• Conduct load, stress, endurance, and spike testing to validate application stability and scalability.
• Work closely with developers, QA, DevOps, and product owners to gather performance requirements and integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Analyze system resource usage including CPU, memory, I/O, and network, and provide recommendations for tuning and capacity planning.
• Create detailed performance test plans, test scripts, results analysis reports, and performance tuning recommendations.
• Provide Tier III support during performance incidents and troubleshoot production performance degradations.
• Participate in architecture and design discussions to ensure performance best practices are incorporated.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Strong hands-on experience with Micro Focus LoadRunner and Performance Center.
• Proficient in Dynatrace and/or AppDynamics for performance monitoring and diagnostics.
• Solid understanding of performance metrics across application, web server, and database tiers.
• Experience with performance testing of RESTful APIs, web applications, and backend services.
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as JavaScript, VBScript, or Python.
• Experience in analyzing logs and metrics from servers, databases, and cloud environments.
• Good understanding of network protocols, HTTP(s), SSL, and web architecture.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Exposure to Agile, Scrum, or SAFe methodologies.
