Job Title: Senior SAP S/4HANA Project Manager
Location: Charlotte Travel Weekly (Job is remote with heavy travel)
Job Type: Contract
SAP Modules: FICO, MM, Sales/Service/Rental, PP
Job Summary:
We are looking for a results-driven Senior SAP S/4HANA Project Manager with a strong background in solution architecture or functional consulting to lead complex SAP transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring extensive hands-on experience managing multiple S/4HANA implementations, deep knowledge of the SAP Activate methodology, and a proactive, outcome-oriented mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Program Manager for an end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation.
- Drive project execution with a strong focus on results, accountability, and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Apply deep expertise in the SAP Activate methodology to guide project planning, execution, and delivery.
- Leverage prior experience as a solution architect or functional consultant to bridge business and technical requirements.
- Prepare and present high-quality materials for steering committee meetings and executive updates.
- Utilize project management tools such as JIRA, Microsoft Project, and Smartsheet to manage timelines, deliverables, and team collaboration.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, leadership, and external partners to ensure alignment and transparency.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record as a Project Manager for multiple SAP S/4HANA implementations.
- Strong background in SAP solution architecture or functional consulting.
- Deep understanding and practical application of SAP Activate methodology.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools including JIRA, MS Project, and Smartsheet.
- Experience preparing and delivering executive-level presentations and steering committee materials.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PMP or equivalent project management certification.
- Experience in large-scale digital transformation programs.
