Job Details

Location: Columbus, OH
Salary: $40.00 USD Hourly - $45.00 USD Hourly
Description:
The Production Support Analyst is responsible for diagnosing and resolving application issues to ensure optimal performance and usability for system users. This role involves providing root cause analysis and recommending improvements, working closely with team members, and independently handling incident tickets.
Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and resolve application issues to ensure system performance.
  • Respond to user requests and incident tickets requiring application-level intervention.
  • Monitor ticket queues and emails to address issues in a timely manner.
  • Develop and maintain accurate technical and user documentation.
  • Troubleshoot minor and major system issues; escalate to vendors when necessary.
  • Collect and provide reporting on application health and usage metrics.
  • Collaborate with vendors, system/database administrators, and end-users.
  • Participate in periodic meetings and maintain applications in production.
  • Perform operational tasks, such as monitoring logs and job statuses.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience reading and writing SQL queries.
  • Proficiency in using Splunk for log analysis.
  • Familiarity with Dynatrace for application and database monitoring.
  • Ability to navigate Windows Servers and configure IIS.
  • Capability to read and interpret application and system log files.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in production support or technical troubleshooting.
  • Ability to quickly assess and determine the impact of system issues.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to issue resolution.
  • Open-mindedness and adaptability to handle diverse challenges.
