Job Title: Sr. Cloud Data Platform Engineer

Location: Iselin, NJ / New York City, NY

Interview Process: Video + Client In-Person

Domain: Strong Banking domain experience required

Employment Type: W2 only

Job Description:

Synechron Inc. is looking for a highly skilled Sr. Cloud Data Platform Engineer with strong experience in cloud technologies and banking domain. The ideal candidate will have expertise in data engineering, cloud platforms, and DevOps practices.

Required Skills & Experience:

Cloud Technologies:

Proficiency in Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).

Cloud Data Platform:

Experience with platforms like Databricks (preferred), Snowflake, Redshift.

Deep understanding of Databricks architecture including clusters, jobs, notebooks, and workspaces.

Data Engineering:

Strong knowledge of data warehousing, data lakes, and ETL processes.

Programming:

Proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala.

Database Technologies:

Experience with both relational (SQL) and NoSQL databases.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC):

Hands-on experience with Terraform or CloudFormation.

DevOps & CI/CD:

Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation principles.

Soft Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
