Remote Federal / State Govt - Recruiter | Talent Acquisition | HR Recruiter
Work you'll do
As Senior Recruiting you will:
- Support TA leaders in the management of recruitment projects, or specific activities related to recruiting and talent acquisition
- Design and implement proactive and innovative sourcing approaches and tools such as social media, Internet, analytics, and database mining to create talent pools and identify potential candidates for target positions
- Perform recruiting activities to create and execute strategies to attract and maintain the interest of qualified candidates based on staffing needs
- Source and attract candidates by using multiple channels
- Actively manage candidate pools including passive candidates
- Support TA leaders throughout the recruitment lifecycle, including screening, interviewing, and assessing candidates
- Work closely with candidates and stakeholders to coordinate and manage interview schedules, logistics for interviews, and candidate travel arrangements
- Update, maintain, and manage candidate data in ATS for internal candidate management purposes and for reporting purposes
- Work closely with stakeholders to define and meet requirements
- Allocate among team members work related to project scope, schedule, and budget
- Conducts periodic reviews to ensure project is on track and conducts post-project reviews
- Ensure all project documentation is kept up to date and communicated to the relevant stakeholders on a timely basis
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree
- 5-10 years of end-to-end recruiting experience, or 7years of consulting/project management experience
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong analytical/numerical ability including high degree of comfort with Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills; ability to build great relationships with candidates, client stakeholders, and recruiting colleagues/leadership
- Proactive problem-solving skills: ability to identify issues and generate solutions; desire and energy to continuously improve recruiting processes
- Ability to coordinate multiple streams of work independently
- Demonstrate initiative, judgment, and maturity
- Strong process support skills and knowledge of recruiting tools and technology is valuable, specifically Taleo
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Preferred:
- Customer service focused experience, including support and/or relationship management tools and practices
- State and/or local government recruiting experience, to include compliance with recruitment laws, regulations, and policies
- Knowledge of business case development and contract management
