Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Guidewire Subject Matter Expert (SME) with deep expertise in Guidewire PolicyCenter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will provide technical and functional leadership across the implementation and optimization of Guidewire solutions, focusing primarily on PolicyCenter.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary SME for Guidewire PolicyCenter throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, developers, architects, and QA teams to deliver scalable and high-quality solutions.
  • Design, configure, and implement PolicyCenter features, workflows, and rules.
  • Provide leadership in requirements gathering, functional design, and process mapping.
  • Guide integration efforts between PolicyCenter and other internal/external systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical and functional issues in PolicyCenter.
  • Review and recommend enhancements to PolicyCenter implementations for better performance and scalability.
  • Ensure best practices are followed in configuration and development.
  • Provide training, documentation, and support to internal teams and stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience with Guidewire products, including 3+ years specifically with PolicyCenter.
  • Strong understanding of PolicyCenter Data Model, Product Model, Rating, and Underwriting workflows.
  • Hands-on experience with Guidewire Configuration (Gosu) and Integration development.
  • Experience with Guidewire Cloud or on-prem deployments.
  • Proven track record of at least one full-cycle Guidewire PolicyCenter implementation.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Guidewire certifications (e.g., PolicyCenter Configuration Specialist).
  • Experience with other Guidewire modules (BillingCenter, ClaimCenter).
  • Familiarity with Java, REST/SOAP APIs, and integration tools.
  • Insurance domain knowledge, particularly Property & Casualty (P&C).
