Job Description

At Thermo Fisher Scientific, we are seeking an AI Engineer to join our remote People Analytics project team. This collaborative group is building innovative AI solutions that transform how our employees

In this role, you'll work closely with data engineers, analysts, and HR partners to develop an AI chatbot that translates natural language into SQL queries. Your expertise in AWS data engineering and AI development will help deliver scalable, secure, and impactful tools that support our global workforce.

What You'll Do
  • Build and optimize an AI chatbot (NL SQL) for people analytics.
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines and cloud infrastructure in AWS.
  • Apply AWS Bedrock (6+ months experience preferred) to deliver generative AI solutions.
  • Collaborate within a cross-functional project team to design, test, and deploy tools.
  • Ensure quality, security, and performance across all solutions.
What We're Looking For
  • 3 to 5 years in software development, data engineering, or related field.
  • Strong AWS expertise (S3, Lambda, Glue, Redshift, Bedrock preferred).
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL.
  • Knowledge of microservices, APIs, and modern frameworks.
  • Strong team player with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
