Major Job Responsibilities:
  • Communicate thoroughly and timely with others (local or global) on the NPD team
  • Communicate with customers directly, with understanding of our communication policies and
    IP control.
  • Provide direction to / mentor others (local or global) on firmware design, architecture, and testing
  • Provide final review and/or design authority on firmware products
  • Coordinate and guide the product security efforts
  • Coordinate and ensure successful internal transfer of knowledge / technology to others
  • Coordinate resources to complete project objectives

Skills Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science related field, with experience (minimum of 6-8 years) in Embedded Firmware. Equivalent years of experience and education considered.
  • Ability to provide new product, product features and major cost reduction ideas
  • Extensive knowledge in different Software Development Life Cycle methodologies and practices
  • Up to date knowledge of product security
  • Extensive knowledge of products, manufacturing processes and agency testing requirements
  • Experience leading product safety discussions and following up through to issue resolution
  • Proven track record in submitting intellectual property (IP)

This position offers hybrid work arrangements, necessitating on-site presence for a minimum of three days weekly.
